When Paul opened McDonald Building Company’s doors in 2010, it was his primary goal to provide clients with these four principles: safety, quality, integrity, and sustainability. With his leadership and knowledge, today our team continues to thrive and maintain these principles day in and day out.

Safety
At MBC, we take safety seriously. Nothing is more important than the safety, health, and well-being of our employees and the people who surround our projects – subcontractors, owners, users and the public.
Our safety goal is zero injuries and no lost time accidents. We take pride in our regional network of certified subcontractors who hold exceptional safety ratings and we create site-specific safety plans taking into account the unique aspects of each project.
MBC’s safety program teaches employees and subcontractors to take action to protect
themselves and others, correct potentially unsafe behaviors, and adopt a mindset of proactively
choosing to follow safety rules. The program includes a full range of ongoing initiatives, including training for new employees, job site-specific safety programs, weekly toolbox meetings, and regular safety audits.
