3.0 University Place is a 250,000+ sq. ft. Class A, commercial lab and office building and caters to the elite tenants in the biotech and research & discovery community. This flagship project is pre-certified LEED® Platinum v4 and intends to pursue the prestigious WELL Platinum designation. Architecturally, this 8-story Life Sciences hub includes 3 elements: the base (retail), the tower (office/lab), and a transitional component to unite the different forms. The office and lab space will capitalize on the co-working and shared-space office model.

3.0 University Place is an amenity-rich project that will feature ground floor retail, a 16,000 sq. ft. green roof mezzanine, LED lighting, a chilled beam heating & cooling system, and a high-performance building envelope including VIEW Smart Glass (no blinds, heat or glare). Sustainability features include 100% filtered + UV Outside Air, an overall anticipated 20% energy savings, and a 100% outdoor water savings via the green roof, among several other energy-saving elements.

3.0 University Place is located at transient-oriented 41st & Market and is being constructed by MDSA - McDonald Dale Strategic Alliance - a collaborative effort between McDonald Building Company and Dale Corporation.

Construction began Summer 2021 and is anticipated to be complete late 2022.
